Colony Pool Club Management Update

We know how much Colony Pool means to the community, especially in the final days of summer, so we want to provide an update in the spirit of transparency and addressing any concerns. Yesterday morning (August 21, 2025), Mike Cowen tendered his resignation as Colony Pool Manager effective immediately.   Additionally, due to the weather forecast, the pool was closed for the day.

The Township worked diligently and explored all viable options to ensure safe, compliant, and continuous operations for the remaining 11 days of the season. We are excited to announce that the sudden and unexpected resignation did not hinder our abilities to continue operating safely. That’s right – Colony Pool Club is open today (Friday, August 22, 2025) and will be open through Labor Day (Monday, September 1, 2025) with our regular schedule.

Our management team for the remainder of the season will consist of Pool Manager Doug Zehner, Assistant Manager Annemarie Lord, and Lauren Hauser.  We are incredibly appreciative of their efforts to ensure a successful and positive conclusion for the 2025 season so you can have a safe and fun experience as always.
