Township Seeks Additional Feedback on Revised Colony Pool Wall Rehabilitation Draft Plans

The existing side walls of the Colony Pool have reached the end of their useful life and should be replaced. The Township seeks to rehabilitate the walls of the Colony Pool as expeditiously as possible so members can continue to enjoy making wonderful summer memories. An initial concept plan was drafted by the Township Engineer in 2024 and proposed to the Township Committee. These plans were considered at several public meetings in 2024. Residents also had an opportunity to provide feedback and ask questions at a special meeting held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. Based on these public discussions, the Township Engineer made revisions and provided a second draft version for consideration. This second draft is provided below for public examination.

The Township Committee will be reviewing this second draft at the next public Workshop Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 7:30 p.m. The goal is to reach a consensus on any new feedback and suggestions for a final design by the end of the meeting so that the Township can solicit bids for construction to begin at the conclusion of the 2025 pool season.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the Workshop Meeting to learn more about the second draft version, as well as ask questions or provide input.
