Chatham Township Police Department Receives Third Reaccreditation by The NJSACOP

At the November 12, 2024 Township Committee meeting, The Chatham Township Police Department commemorated its receipt of a third reaccreditation by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP), a prestigious accomplishment that underscores the department’s commitment to professional excellence in law enforcement. Accreditation through NJSACOP is an extensive process requiring departments to align their policies and procedures with best practices and rigorous professional standards. This reaccreditation, which occurs every three years, highlights Chatham Township Police Department’s dedication to continuous improvement, effective leadership, and high standards of service to the community.
