NOTICE OF ACTION TAKEN BY
TOWNSHIP OF CHATHAM ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT on the 13th day of May 2026 the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Chatham in the County of Morris took the following actions:
Bulk variances relief relating to the Installation of a new, internally illuminated sign for the Buy-Rite Liquor Store on the building façade above the store, on property designated as Block 135, Lot 22 on the Chatham Township Tax Map, and commonly known as 650 Shunpike Road. This property is in the B-1 Business District Zone.
Bulk variances relating to the construction of a rear deck with pergola addition above, fireplace, grill, in-ground pool, paver patio, and trash enclosure, on property designated as Block 122, Lot 8 on the Chatham Township Tax Map, and commonly known as 3 Warwick Road. The property is in the R-3 Residential Zone.
Bulk variances relief relating to the construction of an in-ground pool and additional patio areas in the rear yard on property designated as Block 124, Lot 8 on the Chatham Township Tax Map, and commonly known as 177 Noe Avenue. The property is in the R-3 Residential Zone.
The applicant has applied to the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Township of Chatham for an extension of the time to commence construction on a new one-family dwelling with a rear patio covered by an above ground deck, to be located on property designated as Block 128, Lot 6 on the Chatham Township Tax Map, and commonly known as 494 Southern Boulevard. The property is in the PI-1 Professional Institutional Zone.
Resolutions of the Zoning Board of Adjustment with respect to the above matters are adopted and are filed in the Zoning Board of Adjustment office and are available for public inspection.
