The Walk with the Mayors series continues! The second Spring Walk is scheduled for Saturday, June 21 at 12pm at Shepard Kollock Park.
If you are unable to attend, but would like to connect with the mayors, you can email Mayor Carolyn Dempsey at [email protected] and Mayor Mike Choi at [email protected].
Chatham Borough Mayor Carolyn Dempsey remarked, “I’m excited to continue these walks with Mayor Choi. Our community has beautiful trails, and we love exploring them with our neighbors. We look forward to Mayor Bob Conley of Madison joining us in July for a walk-through Drew Forest!”
Chatham Township Mayor Mike Choi added, “I look forward to continuing the ‘Walk with Mayors’ series which Mayor Carolyn Dempsey and former Township Mayor Stacey Ewald started. Embracing the outdoors and enjoying our picturesque trails are simple yet fulfilling ways to enjoy what our community has to offer. I invite our residents to join us for a stroll because every stride is a prescription for a healthier you!”
Amy Lewis, Health Educator for the Westfield Regional Health Department, and Chair of the Mayors Wellness Committee, “We’re always seeking ways to engage the community in activities that support both physical and mental well-being. Even if you’re new to exercise, joining our mayors for a walk in the fresh air is a fun and accessible way for neighbors of all ages and fitness levels to get involved.”
Rain dates will be held the day after the Saturday walks, on Sunday at 12pm.
