Introducing The 2025 Colony Team!

Our Pool Manager and Assistant Managers bring with them collective experience of over twenty-five years in pool management and were selected for their strong leadership, customer service skills, and commitment to continuous improvement. We are confident their addition will help us build on the club’s traditions while making this summer even more enjoyable for all our members. We’re excited for you to meet them – learn more about them below.

Michael Cowen
Pool Manager

I began my career in education after graduating from Montclair State University. I have since obtained two master’s degrees and am currently the lead teacher in the PE and health department at Bloomfield High School.

My pool management journey began in 2004 at a country club in Essex County.  Building and leading a staff that oversees a pool and serves an enthusiastic membership is something I have always thrived at and enjoyed.

It is my belief that a summer pool club is a special place where families, friends and community members gather to make lifelong memories.  The community’s passion for Colony Pool is very clear to me, and it is honor to become a part of this tradition.

Gina Viggiano
Assistant Manager

I am so excited to kick off the summer at The Colony Pool Club! One of my favorite things is branching out, meeting new people, learning their stories, and doing what I can to serve the community. I am currently a teacher and coach in Bloomfield, NJ, with previous experience as a pool manager, waitress, and in childcare. A fun fact about me is that I love to travel! I have backpacked around Europe twice and studied abroad in Italy for a summer.  Two places that I encourage everyone to add on their bucket list would be Chicago and Sorrento, Italy!

Samantha Rendine
Assistant Manager

I have been a certified lifeguard for 12 years and an assistant pool manager for 6 years. During the school year I am a dedicated kindergarten teacher in Cranford, NJ. I love working with kids and watching them learn and grow throughout the school year. In my free time I love playing with my dog, reading, painting and traveling. I am excited to be an assistant manager at Colony this summer and am looking forward to working with an amazing staff to ensure the members of The Colony Pool Club have a fun and safe summer!

Sabrina Huresky
Assistant Manager

I’m a dedicated educator with 6 years of teaching experience, ranging from kindergarten to middle school, including time as a reading intervention teacher. This past year, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching in Chatham itself at St. Patrick School and getting to know this beautiful community. I’m currently pursuing my license as a reading specialist and love making the most of the warm weather by being outdoors, soaking up the sunshine, and staying involved in meaningful ways. I can’t think of a better way to spend the season than by supporting the management of Colony Pool. I’m looking forward to a fun, safe, and memorable summer with our awesome team!

OFFICE CLOSURE:  The Township Municipal Building will be closed Monday, February 16th, 2026.
