Colony Pool Club Hosts Free Open House for Chatham Residents This Weekend
The Township of Chatham is proud to announce that residents can visit Colony Pool Club for free this weekend on Saturday, June 8thand Sunday, June 9th. To visit, residents must register online at www.chathamtownship.org/colonypool24 and select the “Free Open House Weekend” option after “Sign Up” to enjoy a sunny weekend filled with good family fun. On Sunday, the Colony Swim Team is hosting a “Fun and Games” event at approximately 3 p.m. that will make the day even more exciting!
The Colony Pool Club is a unique feature that is a staple of summer in Chatham Township where childhood memories have been made for generations. The lovely grounds now house 30,000 square feet of spring-fed freshwater swimming, over 8,000 square feet of new beach sand, and courts for all sorts of summer games, including tennis, pickleball, and more! The Club also features the popular Vespucci’s Café with an extensive menu of food and beverages so there’s no need to pack a lunch! The Colony Pool Club is under the new management of Samantha Kenny beginning in 2024. Sam is a teacher in the School District of the Chathams with previous pool management experience, making her a valuable addition to the team.
